With fewer high school guidance counselors available and college grads increasingly unable to find jobs appropriate to their education, every family with a teen and every teen must take responsibility for creating their own individual plan for a successful transition from school to work or school to higher education. Not having a plan has serious financial and emotional consequences for today’s teens and young adults.
